The location is excellent, right next to the Millennium bridge. This meant the Tate Modern, the Barbican Centre, St. Pauls are are all within 10mins walking distance. Several tube stations are also just 5mins away. The hotel itself is great. We chose a room with river view, which I highly recommend doing. It is worth the slightly higher price. I also like the concept: the room is not cleaned every day and you have a small kitchen area which is convenient for, say, juice, fruit, cereals. I wouldn't prepare a full dinner there, but that's really not necessary when you are in London. We stayed 7 nights and had our room cleaned on the third day. Worked perfectly fine for us. Who needs fresh linen or towels every day, and it helps to keep the prices competitive. I also liked the design (colours, furniture, ...) of the room. Would definitely stay again.

I loved everything about Locke, but what i recall best is the LOCATION. Two different tube stations are blocks away. You're very near St Paul's Cathedral. A short walk along the Thames gets you to the Millenium Bridge that gets you to the south side of the river. I rented a 'micro studio', and the size was just right. I was thrilled at the kitchen facilities. The mini kitchen was state of the art, and so comprehensive that i seldom dined out. The kitchen alone saved me a lot of $$. The free laundry was state of the art. I don't know how old the Locke is, but it seemed brand new. The bathroom was sleek, and water pressure was very good. The cost worked out to a great price for a near-luxury stay. I would happily book at the Locke again.

The location was perfect! The staff was super friendly, and gave us great suggestions for restaurants. It was a short 5 minute walk to the Mansion House station, and a 9 minute walk to the St. Paul’s station. There were tons of great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The area didn’t feel as crowded as some of the other touristy areas. I loved that the hotel had a coffee shop on three ground floor (they had a great dirty chai latte). The hotel was also right on the water and a close walk to the Millennium Bridge and the Southwark Bridge!

Excellent service by very courteous staff at the desk, particularly Ceri who was exceptionally helpful. The studio was well designed and super for my month's stay in London. My room - facing the river - was really quiet. No planes, trains or cars could be heard! Amazing for the City of London. I loved being able to see the river and the lights at night. I chose Locke at Broken Wharf for the location as I could walk to all the places I wanted to visit. FABULOUS

Location, view on the Thames and super close to the Tate Modern museum. Tower bridge is on walking distance just like the Thames ferry boats. Nice and modern design and spaces. The room has a great design, great bed and everything was very clean The cafe on the ground floor was also very nice, and has a good selection of food and great coffee. (don't expect standard English breakfast here) Ample space to quietly work on the ground floor.
